A T-52 obsolete ten dollar Civil War treasury note issued December 02, 1862 by the Southern Central Gov't for sale by Brandywine General Store. This type 52 is designated as PF-1 in the Fricke Confederate currency book, meaning it has no series and printed by B. Duncan is on the left. The rarity scale is R-1 meaning common. The T-52 bills featured the proposed state capitol building for Columbia, South Carolina and R. M. T. Hunter, secretary of state for the Confederacy in 1861 on the right. Printed on plain pink paper with a blue back, this example has a darker pink tint. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is very fine.
