Lucinda Dogan House Manassas Civil War Battlefield Park art print
Brandywine General Store
An original premium quality Civil War art print of the Lucinda Dogan House in Manassas National Battlefield Park for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our archival printed artwork features a close up view of the front of this historical civil war house, one of only three remaining civil war structures located in the Manassas Battlefield park. Widow Lucinda Dogan and her five young children moved into this small house in 1860 after their Peach Grove residence burned in 1860. This house was made by combining two out buildings that were on the Peach Grove property. This home was caught in the crossfire of the Union and Confederate armies during the Second Battle of Manassas and had many scars from bullets and shell fragments. General Longstreet dined here after the Southern Victory of the second battle of Bull Run or Manassas. Picture #1385 an original Manassas Battlefield civil war art print made from a photograph in the Brandywine collection.
