Louisiana Five Dollar obsolete Baby Bond with Coupons 1873
An obsolete five dollar baby bond issued by the state of Louisiana in 1873 with four coupons on the side for sale by Brandywine General Store. The back has a beautiful green geometric design, the front has a picture of a young child, the serial number is 12547. This bond was a good deal as it paid 7 1/2 % interest thru 1886 unless Louisiana wanted to pay them off quicker. Our estimation of grade is choice almost uncirculated with two punch cancellations.
