Printed on this Iron marker is Army of Northern Virginia, Hill's Corps, Heth's Division, Garnett's Battalion, Lewis's Battery - The Lewis Artillery. Two 3 inch rifles and two Napoleons then a description of the activities of this unit during the Gettysburg Battle. I removed a large tree that was directly behind the monument which almost appeared to be growing up out of the sign.
