Our archival artwork of this vintage ad shows a woman standing in a kitchen with products made of corn all around her. There are 3 large glass canisters filled with hominy, grits and corn meal. On a plate on the table are a batch of corn muffins just out of the oven as steam is rising off of them. The woman is working in a large bowl of sifted flour, probably going to make a cake. Filling out the table are pancakes and a pitcher half full of syrup. These were all staples in the kitchen of the first half of the last century. The poster states "Corn, The Food of a Nation, serve some way every meal. Appetizing, Nourishing Economical. United States Food Administration and it was painted by Lloyd Harrison. Picture #69
