Our archival printed artwork features the iron gates into the cemetery which have Confederate Dead 1861 1862 printed in an arch. When the Second Battle of Bull Run was over most dead soldiers were placed in shallow graves with no markers. The Bull Run and Groveton Ladies Memorial Association were mostly responsible for establishing this cemetery and approximately 500 Confederate soldiers were brought here to be re interred.
