Virginia Obsolete Currency Bank of Pittsylvania Five dollar Note 1861

A five dollar obsolete banknote from the Bank of Pittsylvania issued from Chatham Virginia with a portrait of George Washington in the right corner. In the center are four cherubs doing the daily chores and on the left is Hope with an anchor. Nice green V protectors are on either side of the cherubs and on each end is a green border with geometric designs. The serial number is 136 with the date being May 29, 1861. The condition of this Confederate Virginia bill is choice fine with a plain back which has some light small pencil markings by an old time currency collector.
