Virginia Obsolete Currency Augusta County Fifteen Cents Scrip

A fifteen cent obsolete change note issued by Augusta County VA during the Civil War on May 25, 1862 at Staunton in the fertile Shenandoah Valley, the breadbasket of the Confederacy. These are simple typeset notes with a very small vignette of a patriotic eagle in the top center with 15 on either end. We have more than one Augusta County fifteen cent Confederate Note available for sale at Brandywine General Store and in different conditions, however we have included a picture of either the actual note or a generic picture of the ones we currently have in stock.
