Texas Confederate Money being the 5 dollar Criswell #14-B Treasury Warrant issued from Austin in 1865 and was intended for Civil Service. The designation by Criswell of 14B means this is the type that had the interest rate changed from 8% down to 6% and dues was misspelled as deus. The condition is almost uncirculated with excellent paper quality. The Treasurer of Texas was going to pay Liberty County or bearer five dollars with receipt of this note.
