Tennessee Obsolete Money Farmers and Merchants Bank Five Dollar Note

A five dollar obsolete Tennessee banknote from the Farmer's and Merchant's Bank of Memphis issued on March 01, 1854. The condition is choice crisp uncirculated, not many of these 19th century notes are still in this lofty condition. The center vignette shows three cherubs on top of five gold dollars with a hunter and a long rifle on the right of them and an Indian princess on the left. An unknown woman is in a small portrait on the right side of the note. The picture shows the actual Tennessee obsolete banknote that is available for sale at Brandywine General Store.
