A nice uncirculated type 62 example of confederate money which features Clement C. Clay, who served in the Confederate Senate as a Senator from Alabama during the Civil War. This paper has an average pink color for this series and a small brown spot to the left underneath the portrait of Clay. This CSA currency was issued from Richmond Virginia on April 6, 1863, the back is plain and is as per grade.
