T-52 Confederate Money R. M. T. Hunter 10.00 EF-AU
Type 52 Confederate Money featuring R. M. T. Hunter on the Ten Dollar CSA Treasury Bill who served as Secretary of State for the Confederate States of America for a short while. The center vignette is of the proposed State Capitol for South Carolina which would be located in Columbia. This bill was issued from Richmond Virginia, the CSA Capitol, during the early part of the Civil War on December 2nd, 1862. The T-52 examples of confederate money have ornate blue backs. Dollars is written in the center at the top and bottom, there are also 10 Xs all in blue circles.
