A T-46 example of Confederate Money that is cut cancelled and will grade very fine. This obsolete civil war currency was issued from Richmond Virginia on September 02, 1862. The center vignette is Ceres, the Goddess of Agriculture, who is resting on a wooden barrel and bales of cotton with ships in the background. The portrait at the right is R. M. T. Hunter who served the Confederacy as the Secretary of State during the early part of the Civil War. The picture shows the actual type 46 confederate money that is for sale at Brandywine General Store.
