T-28 Confederate Money Ten Dollars Ceres & Commerce Fine
Type 28 confederate currency featuring Ceres, the Goddess of agriculture, and Commerce with an urn in a 10.00 denomination CSA Treasury bill. This issue of CSA currency was printed on September 2, 1861 from Richmond Virginia. These notes were manufactured of a poorer quality and the paper did not wear well, so therefore most of the examples of type 28 CSA obsolete money are well worn. These notes grade fine, but have good cuts and just show average wear and are good looking examples for the lower grade. We have included a picture of each of the T-28 bills we currently have in stock at Brandywine General Store.
