Our archival fall landscape features the area as you park to the main flat of Bear Rocks Preserve at Dolly Sods and shows the view looking to the south and west. As you step down off the plateau or flat you can see that the trees start to grow again, this shows mainly oaks with their fall color. On the flat itself are rocks and deep red colors which are the wild blueberry bushes, which are plentiful in the Sods, in this print, due to the distance, they look like wild phlox growing over rocks in a home garden. The big tree on the right is a red spruce as are the small stunted ones on the plain and a big stand of these trees are in the background.
