A Museum Quality Art Print of Rail Fence and White Dogwood Tree. This scenic landscape shows a relic from days gone by, the old chestnut split rail fence. As little as thirty years ago, these rail fences were a fairly common site throughout the rural farming areas of West Virginia. Since the chestnut trees all blighted around one hundred years ago, these fence rails are now fast disappearing and today very few are still around. Even the mighty and durable chestnut can not last forever. This farm in the Smoke Holes section of West Virginia has a few hundred feet of this split rail fence still in use, but it will soon be gone with the rest. There is a nice dogwood tree in the upper part of the print in full white bloom as well as some cedar trees growing up in between the sections of the fence.
At Fine Art Prints of Distinction we painstakingly repair the original files of these old paintings and print them using premium quality inks and paper. The end result is a beautiful, archival reproduction print that will last in your home for generations and at a low cost so anyone can now have great artworks hanging in their home or business. Brandywine General Store is proud to offer for sale a Premium Fine Art Print made from a photograph entitled Rail Fence and White Dogwood Tree.
