The Cattelya Mendelli orchid is native to Columbia where is is found growing on rock outcroppings in Eastern Cordellera in the Andes Mountains. This is one of the easiest species of Reichenbachia orchid to grow in the home. It is well known for its exceptional vigor and ablity to reliably produce 3 to 4 flowers per stem every year during the month of April or May.
