Ohio Obsolete Currency Summit County Bank Change Set of Four

A set of shinplasters from Ohio printed during the Civil War in 1862 at Cuyahoga Falls. This set includes the nickel, dime, quarter and half dollar change notes from W.A. Hanford and payable on Summit County Bank. The nickel note has a large eagle with outspread wings on the left, the tint is blue, the dime bill has a train scene showing the train going up a steep mountain, the tint is green, the quarter note has a large buck deer with a purple tint and the half dollar note has patriotic scene and is tinted green. All of these obsolete change notes will grade almost uncirculated to uncirculated. We have more than one set available for sale at Brandywine General Store, but all will be in the same AU to uncirculated condition.
