An Obsolete State of North Carolina Three Dollar Treasury Note issued during the Civil War on January 1, 1863 from Raleigh. This Confederate bill features the word three, turned vertically on either side with a patterned design in the background of each word. The center image is a portrayal of Liberty standing with Prosperity, who is seated by the cornucopia.We have more than one Uncirculated Three Dollar NC obsolete treasury bills available for sale at Brandywine General Store, but we have included a picture of each one currently in our stock.
