Louisiana Obsolete Currency Bank of LA Five Overprint 1862



A nice Fine condition five dollar confederate bilingual note from the Bank of Louisiana. The date is May 22, 1862 and the place of issue was New Orleans. This Louisiana civil war currency is the type with the blue Five overprint. The back has a fancy orange design and is bilingual, in a box on the back is Cinq Piastres.
