A Museum Quality Art Print of A Vintage View of Harper's Ferry. This town in western Virginia, now WV, was a hotbed of activity during the Civil War starting with John Brown's raid during 1859 which some say was the actual spark of the War Between the States. This is a vintage look to the old restored Civil War town. If not for the people and the various signs and flags, this town could pass as it was during the War. Harper's Ferry is situated above the Potomac River on a steep hillside with the home running right up to the road with only a walkway between the buildings and the hardtop. Storm clouds were brewing as is befitting for this battle town, because of the cloudy weather, we made this print with a vintage look.
At Fine Art Prints of Distinction we painstakingly repair the original files of these old paintings and print them using premium quality inks and paper. The end result is a beautiful, archival reproduction print that will last in your home for generations and at a low cost so anyone can now have great artworks hanging in their home or business. Brandywine General Store is proud to offer for sale a Premium Fine Art Print made from a photograph entitled Vintage View of Harper's Ferry.
