A ten dollar obsolete banknote issued by the Merchants and Planters Bank from Savannah Georgia in the antebellum period of 1856. The center vignette shows a woman getting in the grain crop from the fields, on the left is a portrait of George M. Troup. The condition of this southern currency is in fine condition, the back is plain as issued. Ten is in a bold red overprint along the bottom.
