A 10.00 Bank Note from Merchant's and Planter's Bank of Savannah Georgia certified by PMG at Very Fine 25, issued just before the outbreak of the Civil War in 1860. George M. Troupe is the man on the left side of the bill, a woman holding a sycle is shown setting in the center on shocks of wheat or some grain with a village in the background. One of the American Bank Note pieces of currency with the red overprints, after the Civil War started this company changed to the Southern Bank Note company.
