A five dollar obsolete banknote issued by the Georgia Savings Bank from Macon in 1863, this civil war GA currency will grade fine with red overprints. This bill was payable in Confederate treasury or current banknotes. A vignette of Plenty is in the center vignette surrounded by coins, cotton and the Georgia coat of arms. Ceres is in the lower left corner. A large red V and Five add nice color. The serial number is 1604 and the back is plain as issued.
