Georgia Obsolete Currency Bank of Greensborough one dollar note
SKU: GA Bank Greensborough 1 dollar #10
A one dollar obsolete Georgia banknote issued by the Bank of Greensborough in 1858 in choice crisp uncirculated condition, probably one of the best notes around on this bank. In addition to the great condition there is a low serial number of 10 for an added bonus. The center vignette shows a train pulling out of the station, on the left is a farmer hauling products in a covered wagon and on the right is a school child saluting someone. The vignettes and printing on this antebellum note all look as if they were just printed today and not 160 years ago. The pictures show the actual front and back of this obsolete Georgia currency that is for sale at Brandywine General Store.
