Connecticut Obsolete Money Bank of New England One Dollar PCGS 65
SKU: CT Bank of New England 1 dollar PCGS65
A one dollar bank note from the Bank of New England at Goodspeed's Landing in East Haddam Connecticut. Even though this is a remainder without any date, it was intended for circulation around the 1860 period, in the early days leading up to the Civil War. PCGS grades this note at Gem New 65PPQ. The American Bank Note company, known for their beautiful vignettes, designed this obsolete Connecticut currency. This vintage banknote is nicely printed with green security overprint, and with an engraving depicting the town of East Haddam as seen from the water. The picture shows the actual Bank of New England obsolete banknote that is for sale at Brandywine General Store.
