An obsolete Ten Dollar Treasury bill from the state of Alabama issued during the Civil War in 1864 from Montgomery, which was the 1st capitol of the Confederacy. The portrait in the center is Governor Watts surrounded by cotton bolls. A green Ten is printed underneath his picture. The back is plain and the condition is fine with darkening of the paper.
