A 2008-S Oklahoma Silver Statehood Quarter which was graded perfect by PCGS at Proof 70 Deep Cameo. As of this listing only 737 of these silver state quarters have been good enough to earn the distinction of a perfect 70 grade. This is the best grade of Oklahoma quarter that you can find so it will make an excellent addition for any collection, you will not find one that is any better. Oklahoma was admitted to the Union in 1907. The design on their quarter features their state bird, the scissortail flycatcher, with its distinctive tail feathers spread. The bird is flying over the state flower, Indian Blanket, which symbolizes the rich history of the Native Americans in the state. Any scratches of blemishes you see are on the slab itself and not the coin, please keep in mind that our images are magnified about 10 times which makes any blemish look much worse than it actually is. The coin is also of course, silver in color, but modern proofs with their shiny, glossy surfaces reflect all the lighting making them appear black in color. Brandywine General Store has more than one of these 2008S OK Silver Statehood Quarters graded a perfect 70 by PCGS so you might receive a different PCGS serial number.
