A 1993-S Jefferson Nickel which was professionally certified by PCGS at Proof 69 Deep Cameo. At the time of this writing there had been 5,913 of these nickels slabbed by PCGS at 69 with only 452 being certified at the perfect level of 70. Any scratches or blemishes you might see are on the holder and not the coin itself. Please keep in mind that these images are magnified around 10 times so any flaw looks much worse than it actually is. The coin is also of course, silver in color but the glossy, shiny surfaces of modern proof, while the most beautiful of all coins, reflect all of the light, making the coins appear to be black when photographed.
