Grape Hyacinth, Wasp Insect and Magpie Moth art poster
An archival premium quality poster style print of Grape Hyacinth, Wasp like Insect, Eglantine, Austrian Brier and Magpie Moth made from an illuminated manuscript for sale by Brandywine General Store. The artwork was created by Joris Hoefnagel and Georg Bocskay, Hungarian artists, in 1561-62. The illuminations were added in the 1590s. The mediums used were watercolors, gold and silver paints and ink on parchment. This medieval artwork features the grape hyacinth at the top, a pink and yellow flower on the sides, the wasp like insect is on a flower bud while the magpie moth sets at the bottom with outstretched wings.
