Boy's Fishing in River Country Decor Print
A Museum Quality Print of Boy's Fishing for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our premium artwork was made from a picture taken by the Government around 1940. This outdoor nature scene shows two young boys who are along the river fishing. These boys are most likely brothers, the older one is fishing with a plain long stick which has a line tied onto the end. He has the line in a deep hole where he probably knows trout are hidden. The younger boy is setting on a tire watching what is happening, he might have the job of cleaning the fish as they are caught. Both boys have on straw hats to protect them from the hot summer sun, even though they are currently fishing underneath a large shade tree. The boys were probably not only fishing for entertainment, but also to provide the evening's meal. A scene from a much simpler time. Picture #199 a Country Decor Print
