The first Model T did leave the Ford plant on October 01, 1908 and this same model was produced thru 1927, when it was succeeded by the Model A. Over 16.5 million tin lizzies were sold by the Ford Motor Company, placing the Model T 8th on the list of all time of cars being sold. This car, due to it being credited as one of the first for the general public because of the the low cost was named as the most influential car of the 20th century. The Model T had a 177 cu inch engine that produced up to 20 horsepower. Picture #63
