Jeffrey, founder of the Rambler, started out by building and selling bicycles in the Chicago area between 1878 to 1900. In 1897 he built his first motor car and started commercially producing Rambler cars in 1902. In his beginning year he produced 1500 cars in his factory which was at the time 1/6 of all cars existing in the United States. Picture #58
