T-66 $50.00 Civil War Issue 1864 PF-1 In Memorium Poem

Brandywine General Store

$109.99
SKU: #163 obsolete T-66

A T-66 obsolete fifty dollar treasury bill with the In Memorium poem issued by the Southern Central Government in 1864 during the civil war for sale by Brandywine General Store. The type 66 treasury bill is designated PF-1, meaning it has no flourish over CON and no series. On the back is the "In Memorium" poem bidding farewell to the Confederate money and way of life, some of the genuine bills such as this one were made after the Civil War for souvenirs and keepsakes. A lot more were made with facsimile notes and of course those aren't worth nearly as much. Our estimation of condition is very fine. Jefferson Davis is featured on the type 66 obsolete currency. The pictures show the front and back of the actual T-66 obsolete civil war currency with the In Memorium poem that is for sale, so you can judge the condition yourself.
