Renoir PIerre Auguste - Gabrielle and Jean Premium Poster
An archival premium Quality art poster of Gabrielle and Jean painted by Pierre Auguste Renoir in 1895 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The woman model in the artwork was Gabrielle Renard, a French woman and cousin to Mrs. Renoir, who became the nanny for the Renoir family and later served as the Nurse to the artist. The child in the painting is the artist's second son, Jean to whom Gabrielle developed a strong bond which lasted throughout their lives. Our premium poster has a dark blue border at the bottom with the artist's name, title of painting and the date. A thin black border surrounds the image followed by a wide off white border.
