The picture shows a section of a bush type plant with yellow blooms and evergreen leaves on a reddish stalk. The Gouty House leek was described thus - This plant was introduced into England from the Canary Islands where it was a native. A shrubby plant with low growth, producing numerous evergreen leaves, making a pretty specimen year round.
