An archival premium quality art print of the Battle of Franklin Tennessee originally published by Kurtz and Allison in 1891 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The artwork features Confederate soldiers carrying two Confederate Flags attacking the Union Breastworks. This battle was fought on November 30, 1864 and was one of the worst military disasters for the Confederacy during the Civil War. The CSA troops were led by John Bell Hood and included the Army of Tennessee, while the northern troops included the Army of the Cumberland and the Army of the Ohio and were led by John M. Schofield. The CSA lost over 6,000 men, including 14 Generals and 55 regimental commanders, this battle effectively ended the once grand Army of Tennessee as a fighting force during the short remaining period that was left of the Civil War. These Civil War prints are great for the Confederate or Union soldiers who participate in the battle reeneactments or for any Civil War Historian, these are great quality print reproductions.
