As of this sales listing only 689 of these dimes have been good enough to earn the distinction of a perfect 70 grade by PCGS. Any imperfections you see in the photo on this listing are scratches or blemishes in the plastic holder or slab and not the coin. Please keep in mind that our images are magnified about 10 times, making the smallest fault look much worse than it actually is. The coin is also of course, silver in color, however modern proofs, even though among the most beautiful of all the coins, reflect the light and make the dimes appear black when photographed. Rest assured the coin you purchase from us will look great, it has to since it is in a PCGS 70 holder.
