An obsolete twenty five cents currency issued by the Corporation of Winchester VA in 1861 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The VA obsolete money reference book lists this note on the rarity scale at R-2 meaning between 100 to 199 of these bills are estimated to still exist. The left vignette features Ceres kneeling with Indian maiden while in the center is the ubiquitous dog guarding the chest.
