Brandywine General Store

$159.99
SKU: TX obsolete #263

An obsolete Texas ten dollars civil war Treasury Warrant for military service issued from Austin on July 2, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. Criswell designated this obsolete money as #18a  meaning it was originally for civil service but with the civil marked over with Military. This variation of the obsolete TX bill makes it somewhat rarer than the original civil service example. It is rated at R-6 on the rarity scale meaning it is estimated between 401 to 800 of these notes still exist. Our estimation of condition to be used as a guide only is very fine. The pictures show the front and back of the actual obsolete Texas civil war treasury warrant that is for sale to help you decide on the condition before purchasing.
