An archival premium quality folk art Print of Mount Auburn Cemetery by Thomas Chambers for sale by Brandywine General Store. The naive artist painted this canvas sometime around the period of 1850. The composition shows a beautiful garden like setting that serves as a cemetery, which must have been for wealthy people. In the center is an oblong pond with bushes planted all around it, flower gardens are in sections divided by a rock walkway. At various other places you can see tombstones, which is the only way you can tell this is indeed a cemetery. Large trees are all along the outer edges, by the pond a couple is setting on a bench.
